8:43 - 09:03 Pacific: Intermittent database issue caused the site to be slow or completely unresponsive.

Resolved: Some followup maintenance to return the main database server to full reliability was attempted. Instead of fixing the issue, yesterday's issue returned. The disk was removed again and will be replaced upon further investigation into the issue.
